NRA Capital and Dektos partner to introduce new subscription-based market intelligence on regional Rubber markets.
- Increased market volatility has raised demand for timely market-oriented intelligence.
- New service to complement Singapore as a global price-discovery hub for Rubber.
- Targeted at corporate users and financial institutions.
SINGAPORE – 2 August 2017 – NRA Capital Pte Ltd (“NRA Capital”) a homegrown equity research, corporate finance and advisory company, today announces its partnership with Dektos Investment Corporation Pte Ltd (“Dektos”) to launch the Rubber BlackBox and Rubber WhiteBox journals – now available for subscription at www.rubberboxes.com.
The journals will provide proprietary commentary into Rubber and related commodities, including insights on at least five commodities and markets, namely Singapore, Tokyo and Shanghai.
Over the past decade, Rubber prices have become more volatile. The average daily range of the SICOM TSR20 active contract has increased from one percent in 2007 to 1.5 percent in 2012 and more than three percent in the first seven months of 2017. The increased volatility suggests that Rubber prices have become more sensitive to global events and fluctuations in the financial markets.
The journals will provide subscribers with a competitive advantage by adopting a financial perspective and incorporate the latest macroeconomic developments, market correlations and technical analysis to deliver readers up-to-date views about the regional Rubber markets.
While initially targeted at Rubber businesses and entities, the journals will also expand the existing ecosystem and help the regional Rubber markets attract interest from financial institutions.
The Rubber BlackBox will be a useful monthly reference for users making strategic decisions such as purchases and hedges, while the Rubber WhiteBox is a weekly publication for more active users.
The journals are endorsed by the International Rubber Research and Development Board (IRRDB). Current subscribers include one of the largest tire manufacturers in the world.
“We are pleased to make this announcement,” said NRA Capital director Mr. Raymond Lee. “The launch of the journals demonstrate our capabilities and marks NRA Capital’s expansion of coverage into new markets.”
